### The Offline-First Imperative in Retail
When a network link drops in a supermarket checkout lane, business cannot halt. A modern POS must operate with 100% autonomy, persisting encrypted transactions locally in IndexedDB / SQLite, while continuously synchronizing with central cloud databases whenever connectivity is restored.
In this technical breakdown, we look at event sourcing, conflict-free replicated data types (CRDTs), and hardware driver bridges that keep registers running smoothly no matter what.
